Leinster beat Montpellier, and handy results for all the Irish teams!

 James Ryan

I was pleasantly surprised to see Leinster get a good home win over Montpellier, bonus point and everything. Obviously, we still have a smidgen of work to do on our defense. But there was a bit of the attack of old, as Ross Byrne, Adam Byrne, Daly, and Carbery combined well to make ground and score tires. Barry Daly is having something of a stormer right now. The pack are doing great work, really muscling up, with a very impressive outing from James Ryan. And in defense, Robbie Henshaw will dining off his second chance tackle of Nadolo for years to come. You couldn't really ask for more than a bonus point win start could you?

Ulster also had a night out to remember, making a star studded Wasps side look fairly ordinary. Jacob Stockdale is the man of the moment - he has all the skills - fast, good handling,  a big unit and must be in the Ireland frame now. Great start to build on for the Ulstermen

Connacht also did well in their Challenge Cup match, getting a good win away. And finally, Munster picked up a handy draw at Castres, in a tough hard fought match. Still  bit of settling down period in the backline, but that will come.
