This Friday, Ireland head into the Dragons Den in Cardiff!

This Friday, Ireland head into the Dragons Den in Cardiff for their next encounter in the 6 Nations. But are we going to toast some marshmallows and come home with  victory or get burnt? In fairness, it's a dragon that hasn't been quite as fierce lately - like the conversion to unleaded wasn't a complete success.

It's tough competition - flattening Italy is so last year, darling, a dragons claw is the must have accessory this season.  This is backs against the wall for stuff for Wales though, they have Ireland this weekend, then France in Paris next weekend, so there are no easy games left, and they face in to the real possibility of having only one win and ending up in a wooden spoon battle with Italy.

So it's all looking pretty horrible for them right now, which ramps up the pressure on Ireland. Not a bother for us, we have superb form players like Murray, Standard and Sexton and a master tactician for a coach in Joe Schmidt who will navigate us through the challenge of Wales. That said, I'll be sweating on that win on Friday night!

On Saturday, France travel to Rome, to discover what bag of tricks the Italians may have in stall for them, although it's hard not to see a French win.

Finally, England welcome Scotland to Twickenham, aiming to retain the Calcutta Cup which the Scots haven't claimed away since 1983- the year England finished 5th in the 5 Nations. Scotland are obviously much better than most people think - but they are starting to lose that element of surprise. England are going to have an almighty battle on their hands to subdue the rampant Scots, but should have just enough in the tank to do that.
