Irelands' provinces smite all before them!

 Daniel Leavy
 Dan Leavy

On Friday, Connacht showed a lot of character in beating Edinburgh away. The Scots have had a good run this year, and offer a lot in attack. Whilst Connacht’s defence was a bit leaky, they have one of the most confident attacks in the competition, line breaks all over the place, and when they get their chances, they take them. AJ McGinty is a constant threat, and their pack is teak hard.
Ulster made short work of Zebre as expected.

Then on Saturday, Leinster had to face up to an Ospreys side desperate for a win to keep some hope of a top 6 finish alive. Leinster seemed to take forever to get going, but after having hardly any ball, when they did finally get their chances they roared into a lead from which they couldn’t be caught. Ben Te’O was at the heart of everything they did well, and Dan Leavy showed that the production line in the back row is alive and well. The Ospreys showed a lot of fight, but that Leinster defence is just so efficient, there are very few chances.

Finally, Munster got their bonus point out of the Dragons, even if they had to wait until the final few minutes to claim it. It was a fairly scrappy match, but Munster were patient, scored some good tries, and continue to press for a top four spot.

Not too shabby then, four from four!
